The Croatian Cultural Society Mala Kapela Essen eV was founded in 2021 by young Croats in Essen. At a time marked by the arrival of Croats from the homeland and anonymity among people abroad, a group of people from the Croatian community felt the need to create an institution that would take care of bringing Croats together in Essen and maintaining Croatian tradition, language and culture.

The Society will actively work on maintaining and promoting ties with Croats throughout Germany, as well as Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina

and thus contribute to the strengthening of Croatian communities outside Croatia.

The activity of our society is based on the development of culture through folk dance, music and various activities.
